A Plea For Help

Responding to a comment left on my blog I went to the site of Miss O’Hara, only to be taken aback by the overwhelming anguish and dispair this child of God is expressing, by her total sense of loss.

My wife warns me about my abruptness and how I often, in an attempt to fix things and rescue damsels in distress, don’t really help but am too confrontive. Maybe I was, maybe I am, but this lady needs help and she needs it fast. By help I mean deep intercessory prayer by someone much more accomplished than I am.

So if you are up to it, go to her site, read her anguish, and enter into prayer for her soul. God is calling an adhoc team together and maybe you are part of it. If so, don’t shrink back.

Grace and the peace that passes understand guard your heart and your mind Miss O’Hara, in the knowledge of your salvation in Christ Jesus our Lord, and may God in his mercy grant you healing while he strengthens the hands which hang down, as well as the feeble knees, and may he make straight the paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed. Be healed Miss O’Hara, be healed. In the name of Christ Jesus our Lord, be healed.

Update: Miss O’Hara pulled the referenced posting from her blog, but I doubt that alters her need for immediate intercession. Maybe she just didn’t want to hear any more Christians tell her how much God loves her when she feels abandoned and unloved.

Now the post is back up… and now it is down again.

  1. William, Miss O’Hara left a rather lengthy comment on my posting of Monday the 23rd. I chose to email her to keep my remarks to her private. And then I fervently prayed. Another commenter on my site saw her comment and agreed to pray for her as well. She is definitely crying out. I don’t believe you are in the wrong for asking us to intercede on her behalf. If blogging brings us together for this purpose, then Glory to God for it. I did not see the posting you refer to that was deleted, but it is not necessary. Thank you for your concern. Pg

  2. Aw, thanks you two. 🙂

I have the post ‘protected,’ meaning only those who I want to see can see it…they have to be ‘signed in’ to Xanga. I figure it’s good to keep some things on the down-low; I have many detractors as well as some flat-out enemies out there.
