Family And Baseball

This weekend marks the end of the regular baseball season and we are off the see the Orioles play the Red Sox. It is a combined family/church outing so I am looking forward to a relaxing evening (win or lose) with wife, daughter, and Christian friends. Baseball is slow enough to allow conversation without losing track of what is going on; it is a social event as well as a sporting event. I guess that is one reason I like going to the stadium.

I have got to make some sandwiches to take with us so I have to leave, but if you are following the game, think of me in the stands, cheering for the Orioles, eating a Lebanon bologna sandwich and enjoying the company of friends and family.

Grace and peace and go Orioles.
