Beginnings

A new workweek begins. Mondays always refresh me. It is a chance to start anew, to catch up to those expectations whispering in the back of your mind, “Shouldn’t you…” While I have been a technical writer for almost fourteen years, and a contractor for hire the whole time, I find myself being exorably drawn to writing of a different sort. Not blogging, which is definately not a way to make a living, at least for me, but toward fiction. Having toyed, written and stopped, written and stopped, on my novel about the life of Moses for almost thirteen years, I feel I have reached a tipping point and it has moved from avocation to vocation. This is the year I finish the first volume of my Moses saga. Remember that come December 31. Hold me to it.
